La Petite Grange was once used as a wine cellar and has recently been converted to a delightful one bedroom cottage with double glazing, stone walls and log burning fire. The cottage has an open plan kitchen/living room, with a sofa bed for extra guests if required. The stone walls have two feature alcoves for decorative lanterns that warmly light the room at night. The king size bedroom is upstairs with coordinating bedroom furniture, with the bathroom next door. There is a toilet downstairs with basin and vaulted hallway with storage. Outside there is a bistro set for two and lawn area to enjoy with views over the neighbouring fields. Perfect for weekends and property searches.
We are happy for you to bring your well behaved dog at a charge of £50 and suggest that you keep him/her on the lead as the boundaries are hedge.
Open Plan Living Area
The modern kitchen has an oven with hob, dishwasher, double butler sink and fridge freezer. Two sofas surround the fireplace with log burner and TV with English channels. A table which seats four people is positioned by a large window. A bookcase offers a variety of reading material and an information book of the area for our guests. As well as the fire, the room has an electric heater to take the chill off cooler months.
Bedroom
Upstairs you will find the beamed bedroom with mahogany king size bed with tasteful white bed linen. There are a chest of drawers and matching bedside tables with lamps, a writing desk completes the room. Two velux windows make the bedroom very light and airy in summer. The room is heated by two electric heaters to keep you warm on colder nights.
Bathroom
Next to the bedroom is the bathroom, with beams and small original window. The bath is complete with wall mounted shower. There is a toilet and freestanding hand basin and storage unit.
Cloakroom
Downstairs there is a spacious vaulted lobby with hanging storage and a toilet with hand basin and washing machine.
