By Air:

La Rochelle is 50 minutes away and there are flights with Easy Jet, Ryanair and Flybe from the UK with car hire at the airport terminal.  

Poitiers is an hour north from us and is serviced by Ryanair, a small airport with some car hire.  

Bordeaux is to the south and worth a stop over; car hire is available at the airport and the journey is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes from Aulnay.

By Ferry:

St Malo is 385km by car to the house.

Dover - Calais is 722km and just under 7 hours drive.

Newhaven - Dieppe is 567km by car and the journey is 5 hours 30 min.

Eurotunnel:

Folkestone - Calais this half an hour train journey, is our preferred route with just under 7 hours to drive to the house.

By train:

Two and half hours from Paris to Angouleme and an hour to the house or Paris to Surgeres which is half an hour from the house.  Limited choice of car hire available.
